MIS is a dynamic and rapidly expanding International school on the outskirts of Pattaya, Thailand. We deliver a modern, internationally-oriented curriculum based on the current English national curriculum. The school has a campus structure and is built on beautiful landscaped grounds about 20 minutes’ drive from Pattaya city. The school has a friendly, vibrant atmosphere with an enthusiastic and dedicated professional workforce. 

We are currently looking for a Native English speaker to teach ESL to elementary students. Classes at MIS are taught in English although we sometimes enroll younger students with very little to no English. These students attend our small-sized ESL classes once a day to fast-track their English language skills. You would equip these students with the English language skills they need to eventually participate in their regular academic classes. The position starts as soon as we find a suitable candidate. We will also consider candidates to start first term of the next academic year, on August 23rd, 2018.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications:

BA or BSc
A teaching qualification (B.Ed. or PGCE) preferred
at least one year of experience teaching ESL
A willingness to participate in school life (e.g. Sports or the Arts)
Native English speaker

General Duties:

teaching 15-25 periods per week with young students
teaching one hour a week of ESL to Thai staff.
planning, preparation, assessment, record keeping and reporting
working as a team player in the ESL department and the school.
a willingness to participate in extra-curricular activities

SALARY AND BENEFITS

starting pay of @ 50,000+ baht per month
