JOB DETAILS

GEC has a vacancy for a kindergarten teacher at an anuban school in Sisaket City, about 8 hours from Bangkok.

The job is teaching kindergarten 1 and 2 at a small to medium sized government anuban school in the centre of Sisaket City. 
There are 19 - 22 contact periods a week and the hours of work are from 07.30 to 16.00, Monday to Friday. 

Teaching starts on 19th December 2016 and the contract runs until March 2017.


QUALIFICATIONS

Teaching materials and semester outlines are provided. 
GEC has four foreign English teachers at this school.

Transport from Bangkok to Sisaket is paid and short-term hotel accommodation is provided.

We have a full-time school coordinator in Sisaket to help our teachers and to provide assistance finding suitable long-term accommodation.

All documentation and assistance is given to obtain a non-immigrant B visa from Savanakhet, Laos, and a work permit will be provided.

Please note that we can only accept applications from native English speakers, South African teachers and teachers from European countries with near-native fluency that have a bachelor’s degree. 

Although teaching experience is preferred, equal importance is placed on a good attitude and a positive approach to teaching in Thailand.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

The salary is 32,000 baht per month with a 2,000 baht per month attendance bonus that is paid at the end of the contract in March 2017. Teachers who renew their contract at the same school will receive a 1,000 baht per month salary increase starting in May 2017.
