Overview
Cranberry International School is a small international school in the heart of northern Thailand, located close to Chiang Mai. We are looking for an experienced English teacher to join our team as a Nursery Teacher this November. This teacher will be responsible for preparing and implementing an educational plan according to our curriculum guidelines (IPC), providing knowledge and instruction to students in an immersive English-speaking environment as well as developing their personalities and skills.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with young learners (2-3 years old), and will be passionate for this position, with an ability to build rapport with students and foster a positive, nurturing environment. Starting salary is approximately 35,000 baht depending on experience and qualifications.
We are looking for a native speaker but will consider NNS if they have perfect grammar, pronunciation and use of the English language. If you do not have the perfect use of English then please do not waste my time applying for this position. Thank you.
Responsibilities and Duties
•Prepare and implement lesson plans that encourage creativity and confidence in young learners
•Be able to manage 2 classrooms pre-nursery and nursery classes.
•Create an immersive English-speaking environment and encourage children to speak English as much as possible throughout the day
•Monitor and track each child’s progress throughout the school year
•Communicate with parents regularly regarding their child’s development
•Supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times
•Must be energetic, fun and able to engage with small children
•Must be outcome-based for students to reach the objectives of the international preschool curriculum while maintaining a fun, exciting environment at all times in the school
•Be part of a team environment helping to support others and be professional in your attitude to work
Requirements
•A verifiable University degree required; degree in Education a plus (The applicant must have their degree verified by their embassy)
•Experience working with young children (2-5 years old)
•Experience teaching English abroad a plus
•Experience teaching English as a second language
•Must be able to start November 15th 2018
•Must be able to attend some after school events and some weekend activities but very minimal

•Three assistants in the classroom with you at all times
•Small class sizes – no more than 17 students in each classroom
•Thirteen weeks of paid vacation
•Visa and work permit will be paid for by the school (You will be responsible for obtaining your non-B visa and travel costs)
