Responsibilities:

• Provide variety of materials for children to explore, manipulate and use, both in learning activities and in imaginative play

• Prepare and implement lesson plans

• Organize and lead activities designed to promote physical, mental and social development, such as games, arts and crafts, music, and storytelling.

• Establish and enforce rules for behavior, and procedures for maintaining order. Teach proper eating habits and personal hygiene.

• Meet with supervisors and parents and to discuss their children´s progress and needs, determine priorities for their children and suggest ways that they can promote learning and development.

• Attend all staff meetings and training sessions.

• Collaborate with other teachers and administrators in the development, evaluation, and revision of preschool programs.

• Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming classroom equipment, materials, and supplies

• Perform administrative duties such as picture taking, videotaping and recording for media promotion and feedback to supervisor and parents.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of working experience as a Nursery Teacher

• Bachelor/Master Degree in Education, Early Childhood or Psychology

• Knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; learning and motivation; psychological research methods; and the assessment.

• Experience of work with Smart Board, Computer, video camera, iPad and other E-learning materials

• Proficiency in English

• Certification: TOEFL, IELTS

• Ability to connect and interface with parents on their child’s learning

• Accept direction, supervision and constructive criticism from the coordinator and employer.

• Ability to possess a high degree of professionalism (appearance, dress, communication)
