We are currently looking for enthusiastic and experienced m curriculum r developer & & teacher for * Curriculum in K-12 Curriculum Development Department in sub-brand * En glish.

We offer on-site positions in Beijing, China. Candidates are expected to work both as curriculum developer and teacher.

Job Description

Location: Beijing

Full time: Yes (material development on weekdays and teaching at weekends)

Responsibilities:

Participate in week-day work in development of a core curriculum f ramework for

literature, history, public speech and interdisciplina ry study modules

Create a body of supplementary c ourse materials base d on the curriculum framework,

including researching, developing, and editing educati onal products (both teachers’

and students’ mater ials);

Participate in educational product devel opment, including revising materia ls based on

in-class experience, teacher recommendations, student performan ce, and changing

educational standards;

Develop and polish teachin g methods for course given

Teach English classes (deliver English lessons to 4-6 classes per week with each

class lasting 3 hours)

Evaluate students’ progress, mark student s’ homework or projects and pr ovide

ongoing feedback.

Attend meetings and trainings

Requirements

l Grad school: Top 30 Universities in the U. S. or Top 5 Universities in the U. K.

l Degree: MA or above in humanities-related field (literatur e and education are preferred)

l Experience in course development.

l Experience in teachi ng students in middle school or college.

l Being able to work during some holid ays.

Remuneration

Monthly Salary

Over $8,000 basic salary for e office work + + over / $200/ s class r (fo r teaching)
