Location Overview: Yantai is a coastal city in Shandong Province well known for its beaches and coastline. It retains some of its colonial history and enjoys a quieter pace of life than other Chinese cities. QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements: You should be a qualified teacher with a minimum of two years post qualifying experience in order to teach in China. You will be part of a strong English department including a Chinese Co-teacher. Ideally you can also offer Drama or Art as a second subject. UK experience is desirable but not essential if you are an adaptable and flexible confident educator. You should have an inquiry based approach to your teaching and an ability to work well within a variety of cultures. Previous experience of working with EAL (Students with English as their second language is desirable). You should be adaptable and flexible and have a positive approach to life!
