We´ve got available positions across China, with salaries adjusted to the cost of living in each city.
Currently, available positions are in:
Beijing - 17 500RMB/month + benefits.
Shanghai - 18 000RMB/month + benefits.
Yangzhou - 14 600RMB/month + benefits.
Shenyang - 14 000RMB/month + benefits.
Nanjing - 14 500RMB/month + benefits.
Dalian - 13 700RMB/month + benefits.
Ningbo - 13 000RMB/month + benefits.
Baotou (Inner Mongolia) - 12 000RMB/month + benefits.

What will your classes be like?
As a Shane English teacher, your classes will range from very young learners (3-6) to young learners (7-12), to teens and occasionally adult classes. But the bulk of your students will be between the ages of 3-12 years old. The average number of students is 10-12 in each class. You’ll also have a local TA (teaching assistant) in each class to assist you with setting up activities, disciplining badly behaved students and checking student books.
Working hours?
You’ll teach 20 hours per week, and if you are needed to teach more than 20 hours you’ll be paid extra to do so. For our very young learners, classes are 45 minutes long, and 90 minute classes for the young learners.
Teacher Requirements:
In order to get the legal working visa for a teacher, you need to have:
– a bachelor degree (or higher)
– a 120-hour TEFL certificate (or any other variant)
– passport from either the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland or South Africa.
