The vast majority of jobs in China are teaching kindergarten and preschool. But these opportunities are unique - you get to work with adult and young adult learners, so you´ll be making a big difference for a more serious and experienced student. Are you a passionate and enthusiastic individual who´d like to work with adults and young adult learners? Keen to work for established organizations with centers in many cities throughout China?
While these opportunities come up less frequently, we do have a number of opportunities availale to teach more mature students. Classes take place in beautifully designed centers, public schools, and from time to time, universities. These are easily accessible and equipped with the latest technologies. You will usually be working with other international ESL teachers and will receive both initial and ongoing training to support your own professional development.
Requirements:
- Native English speaker
- Bachelor´s Degree
- 2 years work expereince post-graduation
*Specific teaching expereince is a plus, but not always a requirement
*TEFL Certification is always a plus
Salary Scales:
There is a large range available depending on where you live, and how many hours you wish to work
A. Teachers who wish to work 40 hours per week:
First-tier City (Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen): RMB10000-15000
Second or Third-tier City (Essentially all other cities ): RMB9000-13000
B. Teachers who wish to work fewer than 40 hours per week (for example 25 hours per week):
First-tier City (Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen): RMB9000-11000
Second or Third-tier City (Essentially all other cities): RMB8000-10000
- Furnished accommodation OR a monthly housing allowance (usually between RMB1500 to 4000; location dependent).
- Annual Air ticket allowance reimbursement.
- The school will assist employees with obtaining the Z-Visa
